16 Things You Should Never Say To The Bride Or Groom

After being engaged for 9 months you better believe I have been heard it ALL. Everything from side comments that make my jaw drop to questions that make me contemplate banging my head against a wall. I like to think that people aren’t attempting to intentionally be nosey or rude and that being a bride to be automatically puts you in the hot seat BUT there are some questions and comments that should remain off limits, no matter the circumstance. Because I’m feeling a bit sassy and overwhelmed with my wedding to do’s I’ve compiled a list of things that should never be said to a bride and or groom.

*Tswift voice* … ready for it?

IT’S ABOUT TIME YOU GOT ENGAGED!

What is your budget for the wedding?

Can you please not sit me with ….

When do you plan to start your pre-wedding workouts + diet?

OH MY GOSH – your dress looks JUST like _____

Don’t panic but I need to tell you something

Can I make a toast?

Are you ready for the night of the wedding? * wink wink *

What’s my role in your wedding?

How’s it going with your soon to be in laws?

These are your last moments of freedom!

Hmm, are you sure you want THOSE as your wedding colors?

Are any of the bridesmaid’s single?

When are you two going to have a baby?

Oh girl, I am absolutely going to use this idea for my wedding!

We are having trouble booking flights; can you help? (or any logistical questions)

To all my engaged / married couples, what was the one question that made you go crazy?

Deep breath,
