5 Self-Care Items I’m Currently Loving

If you follow me on Instagram you know I’m constantly sharing friendly reminders of how important self-care is. Taking time for yourself, each and every day, is entirely necessary in advocating for yourself and your well being. Remember, if you don’t show up for yourself then you surely can’t fully show up for others. Whether you carve out time to dive into your journal, breathe in some fresh air, sip on a warm cup of tea or indulge in a face mask - do your thing girlfriend !

5 Self-Care Items I’m Currently Loving:

But First

This might be the mom in me but let’s start off the list strong and go right for the fuel ! We recently purchased this Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Maker and girrrrrl, let. me. tell. you - it’s worth every penny. A little morning ritual I’ve started for myself is to wake up before B does so I can have few slow moments to welcome in a new day. I’ll fill my coffee cup and simply soak in the silence before it’s go time. Having thatme time” to set my intentions for the day over a freshly brewed latte has worked wonders for my mental state. Do any other mama’s swear by their solo time in the morning? I’d love to hear about your routine!

At Home Spa

Anyone else feel like they could truly thrive after a spa day? Same. Since that doesn’t seem to be in my near future, I entirely rely on at home face masks to do the trick. If you’re looking to upgrade your at home skincare routine I would recommend adding in a jade roller and or a gua sha crystal. You’ll be amazed at how much magic one little tool can do! Ok, let’s switch gears back to face masks because if you ask me they are one of the ultimate ways to treat yourself to some TLC. If you’re looking for a full set of masks to check all boxes for your face, eyes and lips then take a peek at this fabulous set from Patchology. If you only have 5 short minutes to squeeze in some nourishment for your skin then definitely check out these sheet masks from Lune+Asher. The low price point will also be self care for your bank account ;) For all my skincare junkies, please share all the details on your favorite products !

The Robe Life

There is nothing quite like a comfortable cozy robe! If you really want to elevate your at home self-care, adding a robe into your daily routine will truly be that extra something you didn't know you needed. These cotton bath robes are perfect if you’re looking for a unisex option. If you’re looking to splurge then swipe your card for this ultra plush robe by Cariloha. And last but not least, if you’re like me and are more of a lightweight robe kind of girl, this floral option is super cute and easy to throw on!

Loungewear #OOTD

Most days I’m entirely convinced that I don’t know how to dress myself in anything but loungewear! Thanks, 2020. It may sound silly but “getting dressed” for the day is totally a form of self-care. Anyone else feel more ready to take on the day after throwing on a little mascara and a cute set? Because, same. This tie-dye jogger set is way too cute to pass up and this similar short set is perfect if you're in warmer temperatures. If you are tie-dyed out, I get it! You can add this adorable set to cart instead. Looks so comfortable, right?

Light It Up

Anyone else low key obsessed with candles? I light one, every single day. It’s just something about a delicious smelling candle that brings me a dose of joy. Whether you light a candle while making dinner or while you’re soaking in a facemark, file candles under self-care. These soy candles come in some yummy scents: coastal rainfall or lavender mint. You can smell it now, right? HA! Oh and here’s a little hot tip, I know that so many of us are still apart from our loved ones and missing celebrations so if you have a candle lover in your life this “birthday party” candle makes for a thoughtful gift or this “new job” candle is a fun way to celebrate a friend’s new chapter from afar!

How will you take care of yourself today?
Tag me in your self-care rituals.

you deserve it,
chels
